Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to see, clearly, what they'd really take home. Nettaker is built with Apple's accessibility frameworks so it works with the assistive features already on your iPhone, iPad and Mac. This statement describes what the app supports today and how to tell us when something falls short.

What Nettaker supports

VoiceOver & Voice Control

Every screen is built from standard, labelled controls, so you can navigate and operate the app by voice and by touch exploration. The take-home figure, the line-by-line tax breakdown, the country comparison table and the cost-of-living view all carry spoken labels, and decorative graphics are hidden from the screen reader so they don't get in the way.

Larger Text (Dynamic Type)

Nettaker's text scales with your preferred reading size, up to the largest accessibility sizes — including the headline take-home amount. Breakdowns and comparison tables reflow rather than clip.

Sufficient contrast

Text colours meet the WCAG AA contrast minimum (4.5:1 for body text) against the app background in both light and dark appearances.

Dark & light interface

Nettaker ships a full dark interface and a full light interface, follows your system appearance by default, and lets you pin it to Light or Dark in Settings.

Don't rely on colour alone

Whether a figure is verified or an estimate is always shown with a text label and an icon — not colour alone — and comparison results are labelled, so meaning never depends on seeing colour.

Reduced Motion

If you turn on Reduce Motion, Nettaker drops its non-essential animation — number transitions and the small selection and expand/collapse animations become instant.

Not applicable

Nettaker contains no audio or video media, so Captions and Audio Descriptions don't apply and are not claimed.

Conformance

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA where it applies to a native app, alongside Apple's Human Interface accessibility guidance. Accessibility is ongoing work — we test with VoiceOver and large text, and we keep improving. See accessibility across all Nettaker apps.

Report an accessibility issue

If any part of Nettaker is hard to use with an assistive feature, please tell us — it helps us fix it. Email support@nettaker.io with your device, iOS/iPadOS/macOS version, and what you were trying to do, and we'll get back to you.
