Privacy Policy

Nettaker is built to respect your privacy. We do not require an account, we do not track you, and we do not sell or share your personal data. This policy explains what the app does and does not do.

The short version

• No account, no sign-in. You can use everything without giving us any personal information.
• No tracking, no ads, no third-party analytics. Nettaker contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.
• Your inputs stay on your device. Salary figures, selected countries, and preferences are stored locally on your device and are never sent to us.

Information the app handles

Salary and tax inputs. The numbers you enter (gross salary, target net, filing status, deductions) are processed entirely on your device to compute results. They are not transmitted anywhere.

Preferences stored on your device. Your preferred currency, selected country, chosen persona, appearance setting, saved scenarios, residency log, and onboarding status are saved in the app's local storage (UserDefaults / the app container) so the app remembers them between launches. A cache of cost-of-living results may be stored in the app's Caches directory. You can clear all of this by deleting the app.

Residency documents (optional). If you choose to scan or attach a document to a residency entry, it is stored only on your device, inside the app's container. It is never uploaded to us or anyone else.

Location (optional). If — and only if — you grant location permission, the app uses your approximate location on your device to default to your home country and unlock your free regional cluster. Your location is never transmitted to us or to any third party. The app never requests location on first launch and works fully without it.

Network requests

To provide live figures, the app makes a small number of network requests that do not include any personal data:

• Exchange rates are fetched from a third-party foreign-exchange rate provider (open.er-api.com) to convert between currencies. These requests contain no information about you.
• Cost-of-living prices may be fetched from Numbeo (numbeo.com) only if the app has been configured with a Numbeo API key by the publisher. These requests send only a country name, never personal data. If no key is configured, the app uses representative figures bundled with it and makes no such request.

Purchases

In-app purchases (Nettaker Pro) are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles all payment information; Nettaker never sees your payment details. Your purchase entitlements are read from your Apple ID via StoreKit and are not stored on our servers (we have none).

Children

Nettaker is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the revised policy at this address.
